Hi, I’m Malcolm, a passionate runner and coach based in Sheffield. My journey into running began in 2017, after a brief sprinting stint at school and a few years of cycling for fitness. I laced up my trainers, hit the road—and quickly realised I loved it.
After 18 months of solo running, I signed up for the Dronfield 10k and found myself surrounded by a sea of smiling, supportive runners. That moment sparked my deeper involvement in the running community, and I’ve never looked back.
Road racing is my strength, with 10k being my best distance—but half marathons are my favourite. I’ve raced everything from cross country and trail to marathons and ultras, and I’m always up for a challenge. Whether it’s a spontaneous ultra, a day on the fells, or cheering on friends across the country, I love being part of the running world. And most Saturdays, you’ll find me at a parkrun somewhere—the best of running and community.
As a qualified coach, I find real joy in helping others achieve their running goals. Whether you're just starting out, aiming to get faster, or training for a big race, I’m here to support you with honest advice, tailored plans, and a community that lifts each other up.
I also volunteer my time as a coach, run leader, club captain, and committee member at my local running club—roles that have deepened my love for the sport and the people in it.
